Michael Foster Ph.D.; C.R.C.; L.V.R.C. is a veterans counselor located at Salt Lake Community College, Redwood campus. He is also a member of the Department of Veterans Affairs. His role is to support veterans with the struggles of civilian life and guide them toward achieving a new career as civilians. His dissertation addresses the many obstacles facing our veterans during this transition. Michael's dissertation includes valuable information on the alarming impact PTSD has on his daily operations of service to these veterans. In addition his paper points out the astronomical monetary cost of treating Americas’ ever-growing number of veterans returning home diagnosed with PTSD.
